Trauma

The Trauma Fixation System is a set of specialized orthopedic plates and screws used for the treatment of various fractures of the upper and lower extremities. This system is designed to provide mechanical stability, maintain proper bone alignment, prevent displacement of fractured fragments, and create optimal conditions for bone healing.

In fractures that require strong fixation, precise angular control, or the ability to withstand high loads, the use of locking plates and cortical screws is of great importance. Trauma products, utilizing durable medical-grade alloys (typically titanium or stainless steel), anatomical designs, and high-precision locking holes, provide reliable fixation in complex conditions.

This system includes 3.5 Locking Plate, Light Locking Plate, Heavy Locking Plate, 3.5 Locking Screw, 5.0 Locking Screw, 3.5 Cortical Screw, and 4.5 Cortical Screw, each of which has a specific application in fracture management.

Types of Trauma Fixation System Products

Locking Plate 1.3.5

This plate is designed for fractures in smaller anatomical regions such as the forearm, wrist, clavicle, and ankle. The 3.5 locking holes of the plate allow the screws to lock at a precise angle and provide very high stability even in cancellous bone or osteoporotic bone. This type of plate is an ideal choice for comminuted fractures, intra-articular fractures, and fractures that require maintenance of length and alignment.

Locking Screw 4.3.5

Compatible with light and anatomical plates, the 3.5 Locking Screw is designed with a threaded head for locking into the plate and a distal thread for anchoring in the bone. This screw is highly suitable for 3.5 plates and fractures in small and precise anatomical regions, and it provides high angular stability.

Light Locking Plate 2

A suitable choice for low-stress fractures, the Light Locking Plate, with reduced thickness and greater flexibility, is intended for regions that require a low-profile and lightweight implant, such as metaphyseal fractures and areas near the joint. These plates prevent excessive pressure on the soft tissue and are highly suitable for young patients or fractures that require minimally invasive treatment.

Locking Screw 5.5.0

Designed specifically for heavy plates and high load-bearing applications, this screw is thicker and stronger and is used for the fixation of large fractures and regions subjected to high loads. In cases such as fractures of the femoral shaft or tibia, this screw, used in combination with heavy plates, provides the highest level of strength and stability.

Cortical Screw 7.4.5

Suitable for thick bones and severe fractures, the 4.5 Cortical Screw is designed for long bones with high density. In shaft fractures of long bones, this screw provides the best performance in compression and initial fixation and is commonly used in combination with heavy plates.

Heavy Locking Plate 3

For regions subjected to high loads, this plate, with greater thickness, strength, and a higher number of holes, is used to manage severe fractures in long bones such as the femur, tibia, and humerus. In comminuted (multi-fragmentary) fractures, long-segment fractures, and fractures with significant displacement, this plate is the best option for withstanding high mechanical stresses.

Cortical Screw 6.3.5

For compression and initial fixation, the 3.5 Cortical Screw is intended for the hard and dense cortical layer of bone and is commonly used for initial plate fixation, compression of the fracture gap, and engagement of the opposite cortex. This screw is one of the most widely used orthopedic screws in trauma surgery.
